Bulldog Investigations Written by Carol Beddingfield 7/8/2009
According to the Department of Justice, over 1.9 million
women are physically assaulted annually in the United States.
Because a majority of assaults go unreported, the numbers
may represent only a fraction of the violent crimes against women.
While these numbers are frightening, women need not view
themselves as helpless victims.
