Krazy Kudzu Follies Thank You
Written by Carol Beddingfield

Have you ever heard of the daffodil principle?  A lady for over 50 years planted daffodil bulbs every year.

Visitors enjoyed the breath taking view created by the five acres of flowers surrounding her home.  Each felt guilty that they had not brought such beauty and happiness to others.

Her advice was to start today.  There is no better time to be happy.  Learn to move forward your goals and desires one step at a time.

Happiness is a journey not a destination.

The Chamber hopes that we added to your happiness with the Krazy Kudzu Follies performances.  Each year the cast creates a production that is funnier than the year before.

Thank you to the businesses, cast, staff, and volunteers does not seem to be sufficient.  Many have been affected by the loss of jobs in our area.  Yet they gave their time and efforts so generously.

For those that purchased tickets, your money will be spent wisely to support the Chamber’s efforts for business growth.

As the Follies unfolds its unique laughter experience, I can relate it to the fields of daffodils.  Each flower is different and adds to the jaw dropping experience.

I want to encourage others to get involved.  Plans have begun for next year’s performance.  The only rule we have is “Dance like no one is watching!”

The Chamber has partnered with the Northeast Alabama Community College to bring the Ready to Work Program to the Fort Payne High School computer labs. Basic computer instruction will be part of this program.  Classes start March 23 at 5:00 PM
