The Chamber gets so many calls requesting our support on various publications that involves the selling of ads. We do not endorse these companies.
Many companies claim that they have spoken with a representative of the Chamber. Leading many to think the Chamber is supporting their efforts.
The latest of these ad companies is Loyalty Publishing, Peoria, IL, which is creating a relocation magazine. If you have any questions or concerns, call the Chamber at 845-2741.
Verizon Wireless will launch the latest new program for wireless internet service on July 24th.
Everyone is invited to attend this Chamber’s Business Celebration with coffee and refreshments at 7:30 AM at the Verizon Wireless store located at 1815 Glenn Boulevard.
Mike Finch, store manager, will be available to explain more in detail the new EDVO program. Basically, if a Verizon Wireless customer gets good service with his/her cell phone, then the EDVO program will work also.
The Evolution Data Only is high speed 3rd generation wireless broadband network with typical downlink speeds of 600-1400 Kbps. It allows customers with capable phones to download music and streamline video directly to their phones.
Customers may also purchase an Air Card to have wireless internet connections for their laptops or home computers. A card specific to the laptop or an air card that connects to a USB port will be provided. An Air Card can only be used on one device at a time.
This new service works off the existing Verizon towers. Updates to the tower equipments have just been added.
Join the Chamber as we explore this new endeavor of Verizon Wireless. Call the capable Verizon staff at 997-9988 for more information.
