Green Egg and November After Hours

There are great gift shops in Fort Payne. But the reason that the Green Egg is different is the unique local art and consignment antiques.

Pam Collins and Cathy Cortner blend their talents together to create a shopping experience. Their emphasis is placed on home décor.

Upholstery, drapery, and other fabric objects can be made right in the store. Material can be furnished or purchased from them.

Local artistic work can be bought. Be sure to check out the work by the young 14 year old artist.

Pam and Cathy worked with a youth group to teach them about shopping locally. The kids were also provided a handmade gift to encourage them to be creative.

I am amazed every time I walk in the Green Egg. The quality and variety of the items is commendable. However, the friendly atmosphere is the trademark.

The Green Egg and Citadel Holdings, LLC will host the Chamber’s After Hours on November 18^th at 5:00 PM. The public is invited to attend. A tour of the Mental Retardation Board Office will also be featured.

Please join us to view the newly remodeled downtown building. Doug Crowe, Doug Wilks, and Terry Taylor have done a beautiful job with one of our old downtown store fronts.

During the remodeling, many items from the early nineteen hundreds were found beneath the building. The concrete blocks were dated 1901. Old Coco Cola bottles manufactured locally in honor of Christmas 1926 were a cherished find.

Get in the holiday spirit and join us for the After Hours at 205 Gault Avenue, North. Refreshments will be served. You must be there to receive the great door prizes.
